Ex-India Star Adds New Angle To Sachin Tendulkar-Virat Kohli Comparison: "Significant Difference"

Former Indian cricket team batter Aakash Chopra added a new angle to the Virat Kohli-Sachin Tendulkar comparison as he said that SENA countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) should be the main consideration when talking about the two cricketers. He poined out that South Africa is the only place where Kohli has better numbers than Tendulkar. The comments came just after South Africa legend AB De Villiers said that Kohli was better than Tendulkar when it came to seaming conditions. Chopra noted that Tendulkar have much better overall Test numbers and even pointed out that the South African bowling attack that Tendulkar faced during his playing days was way more dangerous than the one during Kohli's time.

"SENA countries will tell you your true capability. Overall, in SENA countries, 63 matches for Sachin paaji, his average is 51.30, has 17 centuries and 23 half-centuries, and he has 5,387 runs. Virat Kohli - 48 matches, 3,781 runs at an average of 41.54. We shouldn't look at the centuries because Paaji has 63 matches, and Virat has also scored 12 in 48 matches, but there is a significant difference in the average," Chopra said on YouTUbe.

Chopra was quick to point out that when it comes to England and Australia, Tendulkar overperformed Kohli massively.
