Kolkata's Eden Gardens may lose day-night matches in the 3rd season of the Indian Premier League. That after play was interrupted for close to half an hour during the India-Sri Lanka One Dayer last evening.

A 7-member panel has been formed to look into the issue as well. Meanwhile, Kolkata police have informed the Cricket Association of Bengal that they will not allow Day nighter in Kolkata unless the floodlight issue gets resolved fully.

A similar incident had happened in Eden during the first season of the IPL as well during a Knightriders vs Deccan Chargers game.
