Duminy's IPL riches make waves in SA
The news of South African young sensation Jean Paul Duminy attracting a hefty buy in the second IPL auction in Goa made waves in the country.

A Cricket South Africa official said that South African cricket fraternity would be pleased that Duminy was making waves in the lucrative IPL.
"I am certain that all South Africans are very glad for him, especially in view of the fact that he has just entered the international cricket scene," said the official.
24-year-old Duminy was bought by Mumbai Indians for a whopping $950,000 and the news hit the headline on Frespecially in his home city of Cape Town.
The news of Duminy being snapped by Sachin Tendulkar-led team for a huge sum was flashed on the front page of most afternoon newspapers in Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London and Johannesburg.
The Durban Daily News published the story on its front page under the headline: 'Duminy auctioned for Rand 9.3 million'. The news was also carried on national and local radio stations and television channels.
