Live Score: England vs Pakistan
Pakistani bowlers would be happy to see the English bowlers getting some swing as they would soon come out to bowl. Don't go anywhere as we will be back with the English innings in a jiffy.
Beautiful inswinging delivery by Stuart Broad brought Misbah's long stint in the middle to a halt. Century by Misbah-ul Haq and a half century by Sahfiq took Pakistan to a decent total. Woakes was the spearhead of English bowling, scalping 6 wickets, which are his career best figures in a Test innings.
End of first innings! Swinging deliveries from Broad and Woakes got the better of the Pakistani batsmen in the morning session. Sarfraz played a short aggressive cameo in the morning but failed to capitalise on it as he pushed a short delivery in the hands of Vince at backward point off Woakes' bowling.
OUT! Edged and that's all over for Pakistan! Broad bowls a length delivery on off, Amir looks to poke at it but gets a thick outside edge which flies in the slip cordon where Root at second slip takes it by moving to his left. PAKISTAN ARE BOWLED OUT FOR 339!
Fuller length delivery on middle and leg, clipped through mid-wicket for a single.
Good length delivery on off, Amir looks to go over the top but fails to put bat on ball.
Full on leg, defended towards the leg side for a single.
FOUR! Ah, a boundary now! This is frustrating for the bowler! He bowls it full and gets it to shape away, then he bowls a short ball and he's taken for runs. Tad short and outside off, Shah stays put inside the crease and opens the face of the bat to guide it down to third man for a boundary.
Peach of a delivery! This is good stuff from Woakes! Bowls it full on off which swings away nicely. Shah was playing inside the line but gets beaten.
Full length delivery on off, moving away. Shah prods forward to defend but gets beaten up.
