Cricket Association of Bihar Secretary Aditya Verma joins BJP

Adity Verma made waves by taking the BCCI to court seeking an independent probe into the IPL spot-fixing scandal. The Supreme Court constituted the Justice Mudgal committee to investigate the matter while asking Srinivasan to step aside as BCCI president till the probe was completed.

The unrecognised Cricket Association of Bihar Secretary Aditya Verma, whose legal action led to N Srinivasan stepping aside as BCCI president in the IPL spot-fixing scandal, on Thursday joined the BJP's Bihar unit.

He was inducted into the party by Bihar BJP chief Mangal Pandey.
