Islamabad:
Former captain Zaheer Abbas has been named in a three-man committee to look for a new Pakistan coach.
The Pakistan Cricket Board also included its development manager Intikhab Alam and ex-test wicketkeeper Naushad Ali, while former test opening batsman and now commentator Ramiz Raja will assist the committee.
Waqar Younis will quit as coach because of health problems after Pakistan's tour of Zimbabwe next month.
The PCB also says in its statement Monday that the committee will "look for coaches both from within and outside Pakistan" and will start its work next week.
