Bangalore:
After returning to the one-day fold after close to two years, veteran batsman Rahul Dravid on Monday said he will do everything to prove that selectors have taken a right decision.
Dravid, who has been included in the 15-man ODI squad for the upcoming tri-series in Sri Lanka and Champions Trophy, said he would give his best shot in the matches to come.
"I am pretty happy to be back in the one-day side and looking forward to the tri-series and the Champions Trophy," he told reporters after a practice session at the National Cricket Academy.
"I have been preparing well....hoping that it will go well. I will go there and give the best I can and hopefully, repay the faith that the selectors have shown in me," the former captain said.
Dravid's return, though, has evoked mixed reactions from the former players, with some of them calling it a step in the backward direction.
