Deccan Chargers of Hyderabad will open their defence of the Indian Premier League title by taking on Kolkata Knight Riders to kick off the IPL 3.

Mumbai:

Deccan Chargers of Hyderabad will open their defence of the Indian Premier League title by taking on Kolkata Knight Riders to kick off the third edition of the Twenty20 League at home on March 12, 2010.

Nagpur, Vishakapatnam, Ahmedabad and Dharamsala have been added as new venues to the eight regular ones with Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab playing some matches in these centres.

The full schedule of the 45-day tournament ending on April 25, 2010, is:
