Charles Coventry's unbeaten 194 (his maiden hundred) is the joint highest individual score in ODIs. Saeed Anwar (Pakistan) had recorded 194 off 146 balls against India at Chennai on May 21, 1997.
Coventry's aforesaid knock has contained 106 runs from boundaries (seven sixes and 17 fours) - a record for most runs through boundaries for Zimbabwe.
The previous best individual score for Zimbabwe in ODIs was made by Craig Wishart - 172 off 151 balls against Namibia at Harare on February 10, 2003.
Coventry's marvellous knock is now the highest for a losing cause in ODIs.
Coventry has received his first Man of the Match award in ODIs.
