Dharamshala:
The paceman suffered the injury during yesterday's training session when the team was preparing for tomorrow's match against defending champions Deccan Chargers here.
The injury ruled him out of the remaining two matches so he flew back to Australia, Kings XI Punjab skipper Kumar Sangakkara told reporters after today's practice session at HPCA stadium.
Punjab, who are already out of the semifinal reckoning, are scheduled to play their last league match against Chennai Super Kings on Sunday.
Sangakkara said they will miss Lee in tomorrow's clash against the resurgent defending champions.
The Sri Lankan also said that the Australian fast bowler has been rendered doubtful for the Twenty20 World Cup, starting in the West Indies from April 30.
Sangakkara said he was not sure how the pitch would behave at HPCA stadium tomorrow since no international match has been played at the venue till date.
