Baroda defeated Saurashtra by 66 runs in a Zonal One day match for the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Vadodara on Monday.

Baroda defeated Saurashtra by 66 runs in a Zonal One day match for the Vijay Hazare Trophy in Vadodara on Monday.


After winning the toss, Baroda elected to bat and made 246 all out in 49.3 overs. Kedar Devdhar (63), Aditya Waghmode (47) and Rakesh Solanki (32) were the main contributors for Baroda.

For Saurashtra, Kamlesh Makwana and Sandip Maniar picked up two wickets each.

Chasing a victory target of 247 runs, Saurashtra bundled out for 180 in 47.4 overs with Baroda's Swapnil Singh (4/26) and Murtaja Vahora (3/24) wreaking havoc with the ball.

Wicket-keeper Sagar Jogiyani (36) and captain Jaydev Shah (32) were the top scorers for Saurashtra.
