New Delhi:
Australia swept the three-Test match series 3-0 against Pakistan after they beat them by 231 runs in Hobart.
With their 12th consecutive victory over Pakistan, Australia have equalled the record of scoring most number of consecutive wins against an opponent. Earlier, Sri Lanka held this record against Bangladesh.
In reply to Australia's 519 and 219, Pakistan were bundled out twice for 301 and 206 in respective innings.
Except Khurram Manzoor, who slammed a half-century, none of the Pakistan batsmen could offer any resistance.
Nathan Hauritz, who had a fairly successful series, picked three wickets on the last day as did Peter Siddle.
However, it was Ricky Ponting who was declared the 'man of the match', while all-rounder Shane Watson was given the 'man of the series' award.
