Sydney:
The private wedding, believed to have been attended by only a handful of family members, took place at 40-year-old McGrath's Sydney home on Thursday afternoon.
"It was a simple ceremony and it all went fantastically well," the former cricketer's agent Warren Craig told Network Ten.
The wedding was attended by the retired paceman's children, 10-year-old James and eight-year-old Holly, who was reportedly carrying a posy of pink Jane McGrath roses named after her mother.
Glenn McGrath has credited 28-year-old Leonardi, whom he met in South Africa in 2009, with turning his life around after Jane McGrath died in June 2008, aged 42, following a long struggle with breast cancer.
The secretive ceremony even took some of McGrath's former team-mates by surprise, with Shane Warne tweeting: "Is it true Glenn McGrath got married today? Wow. Wish you all the best my friend."
McGrath retired from Australian cricket in 2007 but continues as chairman of the McGrath Foundation, a breast cancer charity he established with his late wife.
