# Kamran Akmal, for the first time in an ODI against India,  has dismissed four batsmen - his fourth instance in ODIs.

# Saeed Ajmal (3/20) has recorded his best bowling figures against India in ODIs.

# Mahendra Singh Dhoni (54 not out off 89 balls) has recorded his 47th fifty in ODIs - his ninth against Pakistan.

# Dhoni's tally of 167 runs without being dismissed, is the highest for India in the current series.  Jamshed is the top leading run-getter in the series, totalling 207 runs at an average of 207.00.

# Pakistan have won all four ODIs against India at Eden Gardens, Kolkata in ODIs.  They have won four bilateral series against India in India.

# In the last ten years, Australia and Pakistan are the only two teams to have defeated India in a bilateral series in India.

# Mohammad Hafeez (76) has recorded his second highest score against India, next only to the 105 at Mirpuron March 18, 2012. His 15th half-century in ODIs is his first against India.

# Nasir Jamshed became the second batsman after Zaheer Abbas to post three hundreds in successive innings against India in ODIs.  In the 1982-83, Zaheer had recorded 118 at Multan, 105 at Lahore and 113 at Karachi.

# Jamshed has got his third Man of the Match award in ODIs - one each against Zimbabwe, India and Australia.

# Jamshed's batting record against India is quite impressive, totalling 372 in four innings at an average of 186.00, including three hundreds and a fifty - his scores are 53 not out at Karachi on July 2, 2008; 112 at Dhaka on March 18, 2012; 101 not out at Chennai on December 30, 2012 and 106 at Kolkata on January 3, 2013.

# Chris Gayle was the first player to post three centuries and a fifty against India in four innings -  his scores being 103 at Nagpur; 72 at Rajkot; 140 at Ahmedabad and 101 at Baroda - all in November 2002.

# Jamshed has registered all his three hundreds against India in ODIs.  He became the fourth Pakistani batsman to post two centuries in a bilateral series against India.  He has joined Zaheer Abbas (3 in 1982-83), Javed Miandad (2 in 1982-83) and Inzamam-ul-Haq (2 in 2003-04). Jamshed is the only Pakistani batsman to achieve the distinction in India.

# Jamshed and Hafeez have shared a stand of 141 - Pakistan's third highest opening partnership against India in ODIs - their highest in India.

# Hafeez and Jamshed, with four century partnerships, have emulated a Pakistani record for most century stands for the first wicket in nine innings in ODIs.  Imran Farhat and Yasir Hameed had shared four cenury partnerships for the first wicket in 16 innings.

# Ishant Sharma (3/34) has recorded his best bowling performance against Pakistan in ODIs, His figures are his best at home, surpassing the 3 for 50 against Australia at Vadodara on October 25, 2009.
