New Delhi:
Two matches of the Champions League T20 tournament which were scheduled to take place in Kolkata have been shifted to Bengaluru. This after Kolkata Police requested for a change in view of Durga Puja celebrations in the city from October 2.
The tournament will take place in September and October and is spread across four Indian cities and security is of prime importance to organisers in view of the recent blasts in Mumbai. The opening match will be played between the Royal Challengers and Warriors on September 23 while the same venue will be used for two group matches scheduled for October 2, according to a media release issued by the organisers.
