Indian shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth and R.M.V. Gurusaidutt won their respective matches to enter the men's singles Round of 32 at the Commonwealth Games here on Tuesday. (Day 6 Blog | Medal Tally)
Rising star Srikanth had an easy Round of 64 outing as he needed merely 15 minutes to beat St Helena's Duane March 21-3, 21-4 at the Emirates Arena. The Hyderabadi will next take on Welsh Daniel Font on Wednesday. (Read: Indian Wrestlers Sushil Kumar, Amit Kumar, Vinesh Win Gold Medals)
Gurusaidutt too had an easy match as he won 21-5, 21-12 in 24 minutes against Benjamin Pui Hun Li of the Isle of Man. He will next face Edwin Ekiring.
