Viswanathan Anand lost in the 11th game of the World Chess Championship as the Norwegian retains title.

Carlsen lead 6.5-4.5 after 11 games to win his second world championship

Anand needed to win both games to beat Carlsen. In 2013, Carlsen had beaten Anand in 10 games.
