New Zealand cricketer Jesse Ryder was found guilty of abusing match officials during a Plunket Shield match for Otago against Northern Districts and has received a one-match suspension in domestic first-class competition.

Jesse Ryder, who hasn't played since being assaulted outside a Christchurch bar in March, is moving to Otago in a bid to play his way into the national side.
