CLT20 stats: Sunrisers Hyderabad fall to biggest defeat

Titans beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets on Saturday to register their biggest win in terms of wickets in Champions League Twenty20. Here are some other highlights from the Group B game at Ranchi:

# Sunrisers Hyderabad have suffered their biggest defeat in the CLT20, eclipsing the five-wicket loss to Otago at Mohali on September 20, 2013.

# Shikhar Dhawan and Parthiv Patel put on 62 for the first wicket - the pair became the first to register four opening stands of 50-plus in the present competition.

# Dhawan (37 off 21 balls) became the first batsman to manage 250 runs in the present competition at an average of 41.66, including two fifties, in six innings.

# David Wiese (3/17) has produced his best bowling performance for Titans in the CLT20

# Henry Davids became the first Titans' player to manage 300 runs in the CLT20 - his tally being 317 in seven innings at an average of 52.83.  He is the only one to register four fifties for Titans in the CLT20.

# Henry's 64 off 42 balls is his highest score for Titans in the CLT20, eclipsing the 59 not out off 44 balls vs Sydney Sixers at SuperSport, Centurion on October 26, 2012.

# Henry earned a well-deserved Man of the Match award.

# The five batsmen with most career sixes in the CLT20 are - Kieron Pollard (43), David Warner (27), Chris Gayle (24), Henry Davids (20) and Suresh Raina (20).

# Jacques Rudolph took his aggregate to 243 (ave.48.60) in eight matches, including two fifties, for Titans in the CLT20.

# Davids and Rudolph have added 112 for the first wicket - Titans' highest for any wicket in the CLT20, obliterating the 109 by the same pair for the first wicket vs Perth Scorchers at SuperSport Park, Centurion on October 13, 2012.

# The aforesaid partnership is the first century stand by any pair for any wicket vs Sunrisers Hyderabad in the CLT20.

# 60 runs were added in the first six overs by Sunrisers Hyderabad - their highest tally in the powerplay (Overs 0.1 - 6.0)  in Twenty20.

# Dale Steyn has recorded strike rate of 217.64 (37 runs off 17 balls) - the highest by a batsman from Sunrisers in the CLT20 2013.  His tally includes three sixes and three fours.
