Binny was the pick of the bowlers picking up three wickets early on. Shami, Patel and Sharma too bowled well each of them amongst the wickets. Jadeja was expensive on his comeback. But in the context of a below par total much more was needed of the Indian bowlers. Earlier in the day after an opening stand of 83, India were bundled out for just 200.
Both of them together put on a partnership of 133 for the 6th wicket and almost got them home before giving away their wickets. Towards the end India managed to get both of these key players out but it was a little too late.
ENGLAND THROUGH TO THE FINALS! They triumph in the end. The Brits did not start off on a good note losing their in-form player Ian Bell cheaply. Ali too departed thereafter playing a nothing shot. Root, Morgan and Bopara also departed in quick succession. But Taylor and Buttler stuck in and steadied things. Taylor playing the role of an anchor and Buttler playing his naturally aggressive game.
