After pegging the minimum ticket price at Rs 1,000 for the One-Day International between India and England last month, the Mumbai Cricket Association is now offering tickets for all five days of India-West Indies Test match for Rs 150.
The MCA is also selling daily tickets, the cheapest ones, costing a mere Rs 50. The match starts on November 22. The higher-end tickets for the Vithal Divecha Pavilion (Guest stand) on the south east side would cost Rs 150 (Rs 600 for all five days) for the Test match, while tickets for the Sunil Gavaskar (East stand upper tier), North Stand and Sachin Tendulkar Stand as well as the Vijay Merchant Stand would cost Rs 150 per day (Rs 500 for all five days), said a media release from MCA.
The India-England day-night match saw the poorest crowd turn-out for an ODI at the Wankhede Stadium, with the 33,000-capacity arena being only half full.
