Zheng gets wildcard for Wimbledon

Zheng Jie and Samantha Stosur of Australia have been given the final two wildcards for Wimbledon Open which starts at the All England Club June 23.

China's doubles specialist Zheng Jie and Samantha Stosur of Australia have been given the final two wildcards for Wimbledon Open which starts at the All England Club June 23.

Zheng, ranked 133 in the world, was out of action for the latter part of the 2007 campaign with a left ankle injury, but enjoyed a solid French Open coming through qualifiers to reach the third round.

Stosur, a former world top 30 player, has seen her ranking slump to 162 after missing the second half of the 2007 season with a viral illness and only returning to the tour in May this year.
