Sania Mirza and Bethanie Mattek-Sands advanced to women's doubles third round at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, easing past Stephanie Foretz Gacon and Kristina Mladenovic here Friday.
The Indo-American duo beat the French combine 6-3, 6-2 in less than an hour. The 13th seeds next meet either the Williams sisters from America or Russia's Maria Kirilenko and Nadia Petrova.
Sania-Bethanie played solid tennis throughout the match and converted three of their five break points.
