Sania Mirza will play her first match on Tuesday since her 2nd round loss at the Australian Open last month.
The 19 year old takes on Italian Flavia Penetta in the first round of the Open Gaz de France in Paris.
Sania who had taken the week off after the first grand slam has climbed up two places to 32 in the latest WTA rankings.
The Hyderabad teenager had earlier won her opening doubles match with partner Liezel Huber of South Africa.
