Sania Mirza went down fighting 1-6, 6-1, 3-6 to third seed Petra Rampre (Slovakia) in the quarter finals of the Chris Evert ITF Women's championship played at Florida, US. After dropping the first set, Sania bounced back into the game scripting a fluent 6-1 win against the world number 236 and levelled the score infusing competitive spirit into the game. The Slovak, however, kept her reputation intact and gave little room for Sania to settle the issue with a convicing 6-3 win to enter the semifinals. (PTI)
