Indo-Polish pair of Rohan Bopanna and Marcin Matkowski went down 6-4, 3-6, 3-10 to the Dutch-Romanian team of Jean-Julien Rojer, Horia Tecau in the men's doubles final of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship on Saturday.
The sixth seeds and defending champions Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea lost the closely fought final 4-6, 6-7 (5) to the third seeded Dutch-Romanian combination of Jean-Julien Roger and Horia Tecau in one hour and 11 minutes.
The fourth-seeded Indo-Czech pair defeated the fifth-seeded team of Pakistan's Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Dutchman Jean-Julien Rojer 6-1 6-7 (3) 6-4 in a match which lasted more than two and a half hours.
