India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes were knocked out of the Paris Masters tennis tournament here on Wednesday after losing to Santiago Gonzalez and Christopher Kas 6-3, 1-6, 8-10 in the second round.

Fourth seed Bhupathi-Paes, who got a first round bye, started well in the match but lost points in key moments to suffer an early exit at the hands of the Mexican-German pair. The Indian duo has already qualified for the season ending ATP World Tour Finals in London.

The Indo-Pak express of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi play their opening match against Britain's Coling Fleming and Jamie Murray on Thursday. Bopanna-Qureshi are seeded seventh in the tournament.
