Leander Paes pulled off an incredible 'behind-the-back' volley during the mixed doubles semifinal of the Australian Open on Friday.
Paes played the shot in the eighth game when he and partner Martina Hingis were amidst a nail-biting 21-shot rally against Hsieh Su-wei of Taiwan and Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay.

Hsieh had almost had the last laugh in the rally when she hit the ball to the left of Paes, who was standing close to the net. The Indian veteran however, flicked his racket behind his back and somehow managed to play the ball within limits to keep the volley going and won it in the subsequent shot.
Paes and Hingis went on to win the match 7-5, 6-4 to advance to the final.
