Despite the loss, Indian Aces still maintained their top spot with 'games won' percentage of 55.2. They have won eight of their 10 matches, played so far, with 257 games Won as against 207 Games lost.
With just the Singapore leg (December 18-20) left in the tournament, Indian Aces are in a strong position to make it to the final in the five-team tournament.
The top two teams on the points table will play the Season 2 final on December 20. At the Dubai Duty Free Stadium, Indian Aces could win just one out of the five sets in the contest.
Singapore Slammers were one set up after Carlos Moya won the men's legends singles 6-0 against Fabrice Santoro before Indian Aces' Agnieszka Radwaniska brought it to even terms with a 6-3 victory over Belinda Bencic in the women's singles.
The Slammers, however, won the last three sets to score a comprehensive win. The combine of Dustin Brown and Karolina Pliskova beat Indian Aces duo of Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna in the mixed doubles before Andy Murray-Marcelo Melo pair defeated Ivan Dodic/Bernard Tomic 6-4 in men's doubles.
Nick Kyrgios outplayed Tomic 6-1 in the men's singles as the Slammers had an easy outing in the end.
