Former US Open finalist Caroline Wozniacki will miss the upcoming French Open at Roland Garros because of injury, the WTA announced on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old was already a doubt for the clay-court Grand Slam having missed recent tournaments in Madrid and Rome with the injury, which she suffered while training.
The former world number one, who reached the US Open final in 2009 and 2014, has tumbled to 34th rankings having not played since losing in the third round in Miami almost two months ago.
The French Open gets underway on Sunday.
