ATP drops round-robin format

Key Biscayne, Florida: The ATP Board has voted to eliminate the round-robin format. Remaining events that had planned to try round-robins will instead revert to the single-elimination format used at Grand Slam events and most other tournaments, the ATP said on Wednesday. The men's tour had begun testing round-robins at lower-level events.
