Andre Agassi celebrated his 1,000th professional match by beating Australian youngster Peter Luczak in the second round of the Stella Artois Championship in London on Tuesday.
Agassi was tested in the first set by Australia's Peter Luczak before taking it in a tie breaker.
The Australian Open champion then found his rhythm in the second set, winning the match with a backhand 7-6, 6-4. The 33-year-old says he's feeling good enough to go the distance at Wimbledon.
Things were not going too well for Britain's Tim Henman. The seventh seed had to fight back from a set and match point down to beat Davide Sanguinetti of Italy 3-6, 6-3, 7-6.
Thai star Paradorn Srichaphan became the first major seed to fall, losing 6-3, 6-3 to Croatian Mario Ancic.
