National billiards and snooker selection camp from Feb 28
The National Selection Camp for the Asian Billiards and Snooker championships will be held here from February 28-March 7, Gujarat State Billiards Association (GSBA) secretary Abhishek Shah said on Wednesday.

The National Selection Camp for the Asian Billiards and Snooker championships will be held here from February 28-March 7, Gujarat State Billiards Association (GSBA) secretary Abhishek Shah said on Wednesday.
"This would be for the first time that GSBA would be hosting a national selection camp on behalf of the Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI)," Shah said.
"During this camp it would be decided as to which players would represent India in the Asia Billiards and Asian Snooker championships," he said, adding, the points earned by the players during the camp would also decide the national ranking and would be carried forward to the next camp.
Former billiards world champion, Geet Sethi, Asian Games Gold medalist Pankaj Advani, former world billiard champion Rupesh Shah, current national champion Alok Kumar would be participating in the camp.
Besides, Aditya Mehta, Dhruv Sitvala, Shyam Jagtiani, Ashok Shandilya and other would be attending the national selection camp where eight snooker and eight billiards players would be competing against each other in a league format.
