Joan Laurer, a famous wrestler who was well known by her stage name of Chyna in World Wrestling Entertainment, has been found dead in her apartment in California on Wednesday.
The news of her death was posted on her official Twitter handle (@ChynaJoanLaurer)

Chyna entered the WWE, which was then the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1997. She is best remembered for forming a dangerous alliance with Paul Michael Levesque, better known as Triple H.
She held the women's championship in 2001 for a period of 231 days but she is best remembered for creating history as the first and only women so far to have won the Intercontinental championship. She won it first in 1999 and then again in 2000.

After a career in WWE, Chyna took to modeling and bodybuilding. She made a sex tape with her then boyfriend in 2004 that led to a brief career as a pornographic actress, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
She also had several stints on reality shows like "The Surreal Life" and "Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew".
