Harbhajan Singh feels his rivalry with Andrew Symonds is a thing of the distant past and that both have enjoyed their stint together with the Mumbai Indians so far.
Speaking to members of the press on Monday, Harbhajan was categorical that the controversy that erupted between him and Symonds during India's tour to Australia in 2007-08 was part and parcel of the intensity with which international cricket is played. "We were always friends. You all (media) make such a big news. I have left the old matter and things happen at that level," he said.
Reacting to reports that playing under Sachin Tendulkar in this edition of the Indian Premier League has helped both players resolve their issues, Harbhajan was appreciative of the little master. "Sachin has been great. He has helped not just in this matter but has helped in lot of other matters as well. I will always be grateful to him."
