Tendulkar to play IPL match against Deccan Chargers
Sachin Tendulkar, who skipped his birthday celebrations in the wake of Sathya Sai Baba's death, decided to go ahead with playing the Mumbai Indians IPL match against Deccan Chargers here on Sunday.

Sachin Tendulkar, who skipped his birthday celebrations in the wake of Sathya Sai Baba's death, decided to go ahead with playing the Mumbai Indians IPL match against Deccan Chargers here on Sunday.
"Yes, I am playing the match," Tendulkar told reporters as he boarded the team bus to go to the Hyderabad International Cricket stadium where the match is scheduled on Sunday.
Tendulkar, a devotee of Baba, arrived here late on Saturday night with his wife Anjali and two kids.
The iconic batsman turned 38 on Sunday but is believed to have skipped celebrations in view of Baba's death, sources in the hotel where he was staying said.
