Embattled BCCI President N Srinivasan arrived in Chennai on Friday night, returning home after a hectic week which saw pressure mounting on him to quit in the wake of the IPL spot-fixing and betting scandal.

Srinivasan arrived by a Go Air flight from Mumbai around 9.30 pm but declined to respond to questions from the large contingent of mediapersons waiting at the airport.

He landed in Chennai shortly after BCCI Secretary Sanjay Jagdale and Treasurer Ajay Shirke quit from their respective posts in a bid to put pressure on him.
