The start of the first Test between India and South Africa has been delayed due to a wet outfield at the SuperSport Park, Centurion.
The toss was supposed to take place at 10:00 (local time) but it did not happen due to persistent rain since Wednesday night.

The conditions, however, have improved and the umpires will make an inspection at 14:20 (local time). The two teams have arrived at the venue.
