A warrior, the nature of this player is to go the extra mile to help his side in every manner. Despite his father's death, he was with his team that eventually won the Azlan Shah Cup in 2010. He packs a punch and knows what his being on the field can mean for both his side as well as the opposition.
Hailing from Coorg in Karnataka, this Services player has had small hurdles which included an injury before the 2010 World Cup and more recently, a disciplinary action for showing his 'favourite' finger to the crowd in the match against Pakistan mentioned above.
None though may raise any finger on the passion with which this player tackles the sport.
