New Delhi:

Australian legend Ric Charlesworth on Monday landed in New Delhi to meet the Indian Hockey Federation (IHF) chief KPS Gill & the Sports Ministry.

Charlesworth told NDTV, "I have come to attend the meeting after KPS Gill called me personally, but if things don't change I won't stay on with Indian Hockey."

Meanwhile, the venue of the meeting -- Gill's residence -- has become a subject of controversy with a few affiliated units stating that the discussion should be held at a venue where members can express their views freely.

India failed to qualify for the Olympics for the first time since the game was introduced in 1928, after going down to Great Britain in the Chile qualifiers.
