Mumbai: The Indian team is gearing up for the start of the inaugural A-1 Grand Prix season. The season's first racing calendar has been confirmed and for the first time teams from all over the world will be competing on a level playing field. The first race is on September 25 in England, but Team India has a problem aÂ" their number one driver Karun Chandok is yet to be cleared to race for India. For the moment Karun has been signed on a contract for just the first two races of the Grand Prix. The champion was already under contract with another sponsor aÂ" an issue he expects will be sorted soon. The Indian team has received a boost with Karun Chandok being allowed to participate in the race and fans hope that some more Karthikeyan's may emerge for international events like these.
