London:
East London football club West Ham says it will renew its attempt to move into London's Olympic Stadium after this year's Summer Games by submitting a second bid for the tenancy.
West Ham was selected as the preferred long-term tenant of the stadium last year but the deal was called off following legal challenges from other contenders including Premier League club Tottenham.
West Ham joint chairmen David Sullivan and David Gold said in a statement on Friday that "we remain committed to this magnificent stadium and ... there is nobody better placed to help deliver the legacy for the East End community than us."
The Hammers propose being the main tenant in a multi-use arena that will maintain the running track for athletics meets.
