Tranquillo Barnetta, Daniel Gygax and Ricardo Cabanas gave Switzerland a 3-1 victory in a friendly against Scotland on Wednesday. Both teams had chances to score in the first half, but it was Switzerland that took advantage. Bound for the World Cup, Switzerland went ahead in the 21st minute on Barnetta's goal, coming off a cross from Cabanas. Gygax made it 2-0 in the 41st and, although Kenny Miller scored for Scotland in the 55th, Cabanas scored in the 69th to close out the match.
