Madrid:
Brazil midfielder Renato and France defender Escude had their contracts extended until 2011 while left winger Puerta's was renewed to 2012, sports director Monchi Rodriguez said.
"This is another step to consolidate our plan with three players that wanted to stay at the club. The club continues to reward players who give results," Rodriguez said.
The club was still negotiating with squad captain Javi Navarro, who currently has one year left on his contract with an option to extend it one more season, Rodriguez said.
The club was also discussing a possible extension for coach Juande Ramos, who has one more year left on his contract, Rodriguez said.
Under Ramos, Sevilla finished third in the Spanish league, its best result in 37 years. It also won the Copa del Rey, took the European Supercup 3-0 against FC Barcelona and was the first club in more than 20 years to retain the UEFA Cup when it beat Espanyol 3-1 on penalties.
