Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most iconic footballers in contemporary times. His skills on the field is highlighted as much as his earnings off the playing arena. How much though, does the Portugal and Real Madrid star bring back home each year? According to Britain's Dailymail, the figure is a staggering 41.5 million pounds!
At 29, Ronaldo is one of the richest athletes in the world - second to be precise, according to Forbes. That boxer Floyd Mayweather make a shade more than the footballer is a minor detail as international brands continue queuing up to rope in Ronaldo. While the player earns an annual salary of 15 million pounds - after tax and before bonuses, he rakes in another 26.5 million pounds (approximately) from annual endorsements.
From a bizzare facial exercise - Facial Fitness Pao - that tones face muscles, to Clear Shampoo and Emporio Armani underwear - Ronaldo endorses a huge gamut of commercial products and services. And while his carefully sculpted physique may not allow him to munch on those KFC fries in real life, the tale on TV is a completely different deal - pun intended.

The bulk of Ronaldo's commercial earnings though comes from Nike. The sports giant is believed to pay him 14.1 million pounds a year for promoting its collection. Of course, the player has his own line of underwear and fashion collection as well - CR7.
So what can one do with an annual pay-cheque that big? Plenty! Ronaldo reportedly has two gigantic mansions and a huge collection of supercars - Bentley Continental GTC, Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sports Coupé, Porsche Cayenne, Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, Audi Q7, Ferrari F430, Porsche 911, Carrera 2S Cabriolet, Bentley GT Speed, Audi R8, Audi RS6, Maserati GranCabrio, Ferrari 599 GTO, Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, Porsche Cayenne Turbo, Mercedes-Benz C220 CDI, Bugatti Veyron and Phantom Rolls-Royce, at last count.
A luxurious lifestyle however is not the only expenditure that Ronaldo makes. The player - who is also father of a boy, has a philanthropic side and is known to make generous contributions to charity organisations around the world.
