Nancy:
Nancy and Nice failed to improve on their mid-table positions in Ligue 1 as they played out a dull 0-0 draw on Sunday.
Nancy came close to opening the scoring when Andre Luiz's header from Adrian Sarkassian's free-kick was saved by Damien Gregorini on 15 minutes.
But it was a dreadful first half with former French great Michel Platini among those unimpressed.
There was drama just before half-time as Cedric Lecluse caught Bakary Kone with a high boot just after being booked for a challenge on the same player.
The referee had no option other than to show Lecluse a second yellow card leaving Nancy down to 10 men. With their one-man advantage, the visitors soon took control.
Midway through the second half, Kone put Mamadou Bagayoko through but Gennaro Bracigliano saved well with Nice coach Frederic Antonetti clearly disappointed at his side's failure to convert chances.
Ten minutes from time, Bagayoko found Sebastian Roudet but Bracigliano parried his effort before Florent Balmont shot over from the rebound.
The result leaves Nancy in 12th position with Nice a place behind them on goal difference. (AP)
