Manchester United to go on first pre-season tour of US since 2011

No details have been announced, but United says it will visit several cities on its first US trip since 2011.

The English Premier League champions are struggling in their first season since Alex Ferguson retired, sitting seventh in the standings, seven points behind the Champions League qualification places.
United is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and owned by the Glazer family.
