Madhya Pradesh thrash Gujarat 19-1 in National Football Championship
Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday demolished Guajarat 19-1 in the 34th National Football Championship for the Coca Cola Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda in Margao.

Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday demolished Guajarat 19-1 in the 34th National Football Championship for the Coca Cola Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy at the PJN Stadium in Fatorda in Margao.
At half time, Madhya Pradesh led 8-1. Tarun Uikey and Yogesh who played a key role in MP's huge win, scored five goals each.
Bablu Oraon netted four and Shubam Mane a brace. Lalu, Hussain Gazi and Suman Dutta scored one each. Tassasingh Sadhu got the consolation goal for Gujarat. This was the first outing in the competition for Madhya Pradesh. They will face Goa in their next match.
This was Gujarat's second loss in the competition, after losing to Maharashtra on Monday. Gujarat plays Rajasthan next.
