Germany star Mario Goetze on Tuesday said he was delighted to resume training with Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund after a nine-week injury lay-off.
"It's a great feeling to be back," said the 19-year-old, who made his last appearance in the German league back in December having suffered from a hamstring injury, then a groin problem since late January.
"I haven't got any niggling health problems anymore but I have to get myself fit again after the long lay-off."
There is no date yet for Goetze's return to the Bundesliga but Dortmund have a tough run into the end of the season as they face Bayern, Schalke and Moenchengladbach -- all of whom are in the top four -- starting April 11.
Before his injury, Goetze was in impressive form for club and country. He scored five goals in 14 games for German champions Dortmund after finding the net in Germany's friendly 3-2 win over Brazil last August and orchestrating the victory.
He is set to be part of the Germany squad for Euro 2012, to be co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine, which starts on June 8.
