London:
Players from all four home nations will be eligible to play for the men's and women's British soccer teams at the 2012 Olympics in London.
The British Olympic Association says an agreement has been reached between England's Football Association and its counterparts in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to form a Team GB in the men's tournament for the first time in 52 years.
It will be the first time a British women's team will play at an Olympics.
The men's squad will be 18 players with 15 under 23s and three 'open age' players.
The BOA says process of selecting players will begin later this year, along with an announcement of the managers for both teams.
